I think that sums up the joy I feel with the arrival of the Winter Solstice and getting past the holidays and the New Year. We’re just that much closer to spring! In the meantime, as I do with all the seasons here in the Midwest, I try to savor and enjoy the hunkering down, the restful, easy days of winter and the beauty of a snowy landscape (nothing yet here, so far though!) Just the rain which is cleansing and nurturing to the earth all the same.
